Biography
Wayne Newman brings extensive experience in workers’ compensation law and a longstanding commitment to advocating for injured workers throughout Illinois. Over the course of his career, he has resolved thousands of workers’ compensation cases and obtained more than $75 million in recovery for his clients.
Wayne has been recognized for his knowledge and authority in the field of workers’ compensation. In 2011, he was installed as President of the Workers’ Compensation Lawyers Association (WCLA), an organization representing more than 700 workers’ compensation attorneys from both sides of the Bar and dedicated to promoting professionalism and continuing legal education.
Throughout his career, Wayne has remained committed to protecting injured workers from unfair treatment by insurance companies. He regularly travels throughout Illinois to educate union members about their rights under the Illinois Workers’ Compensation Act and believes strongly in ensuring that hardworking individuals receive the protection and representation they deserve.
During law school, Wayne interned with the Illinois Attorney General and volunteered with his law school's legal aid program, experiences that helped shape his commitment to public service and advocacy. Wayne takes pride in advocating for injured workers and helping them navigate the workers’ compensation system with knowledge, experience, and dedicated representation.
