Steve Berman Partner at Anesi, Ozmon, Rodin, Novak & Kohen, Ltd obtained $1,750,000.00 settlement for injured student

Feb 14, 2018 | Firm News

Partner Steven Berman obtained a $1,750,000.00 settlement for a student who had suffered a severe concussion when an inflatable amusement ride malfunctioned at a post-high school prom event. Although the company which supplied the ride initially denied liability, Steve was able to show that they used the wrong type of attachment to secure the ride. Our client was struck in the head with a chain when the apparatus came apart, and he continues to suffer from migraine headaches as a result of his head injury.

“I would just like to say to everyone at the firm, this is about Jeff Alter, I know that you all there have large and much more profitable cases than mine, the people that Jeff and his secretary had to deal with are simply scandals and that is being polite, but Jeff and his wonderful secretary fought for me and my family, I was off work over this for over a year. Medical bills . . . just a lot of uncertainty, fear and just being taken great advantage of, my settlement is only a few dollars, less than $4,000, this is in no way due to lack of working hard and vigorously for me [sic].”

“They did a great job with helping me with my workman's comp case. I would recommend this law firm to anyone that’s in need of a lawyer.”
